.No question about it; The Central Valley is the music-lover’s place-to-be this weekend. With three festivals in Modesto boasting more than 75 bands, there should be something for every ear. Friday brings Teen Fest at the Martin Peterson Center, then Downtown Modesto transforms into one giant dance floor on Saturday for the 12th annual X Fest, followed by the free and family-friendly Mostock in Graceda Park all day Sunday. If however, rock is not how you roll, or you’re looking for something a little more low-key, you may want to head up to Jamestown for some great folk music at the Singing Rails Music Festival, or get on over to Newman’s West Side Theater and get your fill of honky tonk and western swing. (Details on each of the concerts and festivals provided below.)
